Celebration of Breastfeeding Month

As part of the celebration of Breastfeeding month, another Gender and Development (GAD) activity was held on August 18, 2023 at Xentromall, Diversion Road, Batangas City.

CUB joined and supported the event, along with the Adventist community and different cooperative affilliates including Batangas City Advent MPC (BAMCO), BatMC MPC, Batangas Health Care MPC and Philhealth Regional Office IV-B Employees MPC.

The Resource Person, Dr. Marj Sibayan, talked about the importance and benefits of breastfeeding, and parenting tips to pregnant and lactating mothers.

This GAD activity for the month of August was attended by pregnant and lactating mothers from various barangays in Batangas City. For the month of September 2023 the GAD activity's target participants are Senior Citizens, to raise awareness and to educate about Alzheimer's Disease.
