Cooperative Forum July 20, 2023

A Cooperative Forum was made possible through the tripartite efforts of Cooperative Union of Batangas (CUB), Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO) and Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC). It was held last July 20 at the Provincial Auditorium, Capitol Complex, Batangas City. Aiming to provide a platform where participants could raise their issues and concerns to different agencies or offices, Included among the invited resource persons and discussants were officers from BIR RDO 58 & 59, BPLO Batangas City, BLGF IV-A and CDA. During the discussion, several questions and clarifications that arose were about taxes and business permits specifically from cooperatives with different types of business.

Subsequently, during his talk, CDA Regional Director Salvador Valeroso explained the importance of strengthening policy on mediation and conciliation in cooperatives.
